HOW DOES THE COUNTIG WORK
The Hi/Lo counting is based on card division in three groups, and on the assignment of three different values at any group, that are +1, 0, -1. - First group: includes the card from 2 to 6, that, in the Hi/Lo counting, have value +1. - Second group: includes the card from 7 to 9, that have value 0. - Third group: includes the card from 10 to Ace, that have value -1. You have to start to count when the first card of the deck is discovered, obviously you have to start from 0. This is also called the “Simple Count”. Let see one example: you are playing alone against the bank, it’s the first hand and you have already bet the minimum possible. The dealer give you the first card of the deck, that it’s a 6, than deals at the bank an 5, and at last he gives you a king (K). In according to the Hi/Lo counting you have to add +1 when the 6 is served, +1 when the 5 is served, and – 1 when the K is served, for a total of +1. You stand and the dealer takes another tree card from the deck: 7, 3, and 8. Following the Hi/Lo count, you have to sum 0 for the 7, + 1 for the 3, and another 0 for the 8. So the total count now it’s +2. The bank busted and another hand it’s dealt, but now you have to start your count from +2, and so on. When the count is positive you have more possibilities to win, as much as high the count is. So, for win at blackjack, it’s necessary count the cards. This system is simple, without our program it’s hard to keep in mind all this numbers and it’s easy to commit errors. Moreover, there is another reason that makes our program necessary for win: THE P.Ratio The P.Ratio it’s a number that give you more accuracy compared to the Simple Count. It consists into divide the Simple Count for the card that are still in the deck. The P.Ratio it’s more difficult to keep in mind (maybe impossible), but our program gives you automatically.
